Market Animal Weigh-In Dates

Any 4-H / FFA member in Grant, Hardy or Pendleton counties who are enrolled in a Market Animal project and will be showing their market animal at the 2024 Tri-County Fair is required by Fair rules to bring their animal(s) for the mandatory weigh-in on the following dates:

Weigh-In Dates:
• Market Steer
  Wednesday March 13, 2024 4pm-7pm Saturday March 16, 2024 9am-12:00noon
  Location: Misty Mountain Farm, Moorefield, WV


• Market Hog
  Saturday May 4,2024 9am-12:00noon
  Wednesday May 8, 2024 5pm-8pm Location: Tri-County Fairgrounds, Petersburg, WV


• Market Lamb / Goat
  Saturday June 15, 2024 9am-1pm Wednesday June 19, 2024 9am-1pm
  Location: Tri-County Fairgrounds, Petersburg, WV

*ALL MARKET ANIMALS MUST BE WEIGH-IN*

These weigh-ins help serve as a gauge for each animal's growth. The weigh-in is to help members correct problems with their animal's care months before the fair.

A 4-H or FFA member does not have to be present at the weigh-in but is his/her responsibility to see the animal is there on designated day and time.

There will be an additional dates available for animals that missed weigh-in date.

Official 2023 entry form will be given at respective weigh-in and is member's responsibility to return (postmarked) to Tri-County Fair by July 1, 2023
